Daniel McMahon, MD, MBA, FACS 

Dr. McMahon is a general surgeon with over 20 years of experience in academic and military medical settings.  In his active clinical practice, he performs a variety of open, laparoscopic, robotic, and endoscopic procedures.  He served 12 years on active duty in the U.S. Navy with multiple overseas deployments.  During his active-duty service, he gained leadership and operational experience in various areas including flight surgery, surface and subsurface naval operations, and special operations support.  He completed an Executive MBA program at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School with a concentration in strategy and finance.  


Dr. McMahon has developed a deep interest and passion for medical devices and technologies.  His specific interests include surgical innovation and soft tissue robotic surgery as well as military and expeditionary medical care.  He combines his unique clinical background, military experience, and business acumen to provide consulting and advisory services in the medical device and technology sector.  He thrives in collaborative environments and enjoys finding creative solutions to complex problems.
